India King Tandoori & Wine

I found a new happy place in the Tampa Bay area. Service is outstanding, fast and friendly, polite and happy to explain dishes and spice levels. After ordering, we received cumin pappadam with a side of spicy mint-cilantro chutney and a side of sweet tamarind chutney (like chips and salsa at a Mexican place). The dal palak was creamy, earthy and well spiced (I ordered an 11 and received a 10, which is a perfect choice for a chef that doesn't know the customer) and I will certainly try to recreate this full flavored palate tickler. The Roti was good and the Basmati rice fragrant. I am already planning a return to this wonderful restaurant. I like to cook Indian food and when I travel, I always check for Indian restaurants (as well as pupusas and breweries) and like to try as many as I can fit into my schedule. What could be better? Very little! I am always looking for Pani puri and I often suffer from cravings for Dosa :-) I will eat my way through their vegetarian menu but after that I will politely ask for those menu additions.

Great good, super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The prices are good too. The butter chicken was delicious, a little more tomato forward than buttery/creamy but still delicious. The rice was super fluffy and garlic naan delicious with a generous serving. They brought my group a complimentary dessert and it tasted like a donut hole soaked in a very sweet syrup with warm spices. Definitely give this place a try!

First time trying this place first place please help us out ordering and it did not disappoint! Atmosphere, food and service was excellent excellent. 10/10 would recommend server and chef made sure we were taken care of. We were so excited and made a little mess of the buttered chicken on the side of the bowl

We ate here before going to the airport- Wow! Food was fantastic. Service was outstanding. It was clear they wanted us to have a good experience and ensured our food was as spicy (or not) as we like. We felt like we were dining with friends who cared about us! The food was served quickly so we were able to have a delicious and healthy meal before flying. I’m so grateful to the server and cooks here! It was a perfect farewell to Florida.

We had a fantastic experience at Indian King Tandoori and Wine! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The vegetable pakora came in large, crispy pieces, perfectly spiced and incredibly satisfying. The highlight of the meal was the lamb rogan josh—hands down the best I’ve ever tasted, rich and deeply flavorful. Service was warm and attentive. The owner personally greeted us and made sure everything was to our liking, and our server made sure the chef got our preferred spice level just right. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience. This is a new restaurant that absolutely deserves to be discovered by more people. While we dined in, we noticed a steady stream of carryout customers, and they also offer delivery through DoorDash—which we’re thrilled about since they deliver to our neighborhood! Highly recommend giving this place a try. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This place is absolutely incredible. The very best food and service. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Great portion sizes as well! We had the tikka masala and butter chicken, both were phenomenal.

This food is amazing! It was such a fun night. I knew what I was ordering, but my friend had never eaten here before, so the guy was so sweet and helped us figure out what to order and everything was amazing! My friend is such a picky eater and she loved everything! I can’t wait to go back!

This is such a great Indian store. I love their food. Had a great experience thanks to our server. Will come again.
